  • Fastest storage in the world

The world's fastest SCSI drives operate at 15,000 RPMs, 100 MB/sec throughput, and millisecond response time. XFM2 backs up at the equivalent of 1.8 million RPMs and microsecond response time.
  • Fast FileMaker Server

With up to 32 cores of power and the fastest data storage in the world, the XFM2 delivers FileMaker's best possible performance.
  • Backs up ½ terabyte in about 1 second

  • Really, back up 512GB in about a second. No worries about huge FileMaker databases, we have you covered.
  • Turn-key appliance

Install the XFM2 onto your network, plug-in the accompanying UPS, copy your database files into the FileMaker directory, and that's it.
  • Hundreds of backups on a unit

  • Need to go way back in time? XFM2 can handle it. With retention capacity to store literally hunderds of backups, XFM2 can handle your long-term archiving requirements.
  • Remote management

  • Need to restore your system via your iPhone? No problem. Just visit the XFM2's web-management interface, and your system is restored to the previous state with "one touch" convenience.
  • Online support connectivity

  • With the XFM2's "support tunnel" capability, support agents are never far away, and remote systems are monitored via online support agents via secure network connections. Not comofortable with that? You can disable it at any time.
  • Automated remote backups

  • The XFM2 can automatically and securely "push" backup copies to any number of remote servers across the room or across the Internet, completely configurable by you.
  • Professional Backups

You need not worry about when or how to make backups, whether they're done systematically, when to remove them, or how to restore them. XFM2 fully automates all backup procedures by default. You don't even have to turn-on backups. Of course, you can customize XFM2 extensively should you wish.
  • Retention Schedule

By default the XFM2 backs up your data every 15 minutes for 2 hours, every hour for a day, every day for a week, maintaining a rotational schedule of 39 full copies of your data during the normal course of a week. If you prefer, you can change the defaults to create a custom retention schedule. Of course, you can protect any specific backup that you wish, eliminating it from automatic rotational removal.
  • Data Integrity

Even before backups, the XFM2 automatically synchronizes memory data to a RAID-10 disk array. If there is a problem with a disk in the RAID-10 array, just replace the failed disk and the XFM2 automatically resynchronizes your data. The management console will identify which disk failed, and point you to what needs to be replaced. It's easy. Meanwhile, the default retention schedule will have 39 complete backups. Combined with XFM2's remote, off-site, storage capability, it becomes very, very difficult to lose data. Just remember--these features are fully automated and completely turn-key.
  • Automated Health Monitoring

The XFM2 self-heals for most problems that can occur, eliminating problems before they ever are noticed. Additionally, XFM2 constantly monitors storage health, and can report status via SNMP, Syslog, or HTTP down to the second.
  • Uninteruptible Power Supply (UPS)

The XFM2 comes standard with a UPS to protect against downtime. You'll never be bothered by another utility company power spike. If a power outage does occur, the XFM2 will stay up as long as possible, gracefully shutting-down only if or when necessary to protect your data. When you bring the XFM2 back online after an outage, your data will be right where it should be, safe and secure.
